Tips for Saving Energy
There has been a recent rise in the cost of electricity we
see on our monthly bill. Three things that are contributing
factors to the increase are rising demand, higher fuel costs,
and regulations set by the federal government. Though these
things are out of our control, there are steps we can take to
be more economical in our energy use. Everything from
landscaping to the choice of light bulb to the use of ceiling
fans offer ways we can reduce our electric usage.
To view useful details about your estimated energy usage,
seasonal factors, and cost-saving recommendations, try our
Home Energy Calculator! It's free and will take less
than 10 minutes to complete.
