In recent years, you have probably noticed that many companies have implemented steps that you may feel makes it harder to do business using a credit/debit card  You may have to provide photo identification, account code or other information to transact business.

These things come from the Payment Cardholder Industry (PCI) Security standard for the protection of payment card data.  This is a single standard that arose out of the individual security programs that were developed by the major payment card companies such as VISA and MasterCard.

PGEC  provides an option (#2) for members to pass directly into a secure area to inquire about an account balance or due date or make a credit/debit card payment without having to speak to a customer service representative. Safeguarding your account and payment card information is a responsiibility that PGEC takes very seriously.

Simply call (804) 834-2424 and press "2" as soon as our message begins to be directed into the Secure Pay area!  You will need your electric account number(s) or phone number listed on your account with us.
