ROC Solid Partnership

A nonprofit foundation that assists families facing pediatric cancer got a heartfelt charitable boost this month from employees at Community Electric Cooperative (CEC) and Prince George Electric Cooperative (PGEC). Sixteen volunteers (eight from each co-op) spent a Thursday morning conducting a “Ready Bag Packing Party” to support families whose children are afflicted with cancer.

Co-op employees clear 1,300 pounds of trash in annual Adopt-A-Highway Program

One of the many ways Prince George Electric Cooperative gives back to the community is through its employee volunteer program.  Annually, PGEC partners with the Adopt-A-Highway Program to collect trash along George Town, Spring Hill, Shingleton, Beaver Dam and parts of Walnut Hill Road.
