Sarat Yellepeddi
President & CEO

Yellepeddi joined PGEC in September 2019 as VP of information technology, and was promoted to COO and SVP of IT in June 2020. Previously, Yellepeddi had been with SEDC in Atlanta, Georgia for more than ten years. He started at SEDC as VP of IT development in 2007 and became chief technology officer in 2015, which was his most recent position before coming to work for the co-op. Prior to his career with SEDC, Yellepeddi worked as a project manager at Allstate Insurance for seven years. He earned his M.S. in mechanical engineering and Executive M.B.A. from Northern Illinois University in 1999 and 2003, respectively, and is Microsoft certified.
William "Chip" Hammack Jr.
CFO & Senior Vice President of Regulatory Affairs

Hammack joined PGEC in July 2026 with extensive knowledge and experience in the electric industry. He began his professional career in 1992 at Pataula EMC in Cuthbert, Georgia, where he was the Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, he was the Vice President of Finance & Accounting at Sumter Electric Membership Corporation in Americus, Georgia from 2021-2026. Originally from Butler, Georgia, Hammack says he is excited to make Southeastern Virginia home and use his expertise to serve PGEC’s members. “Our sole purpose is to bring you power and services that enrich the lives of this membership,” Hammack said.
Joshua Krenicky

Vice President of Engineering & Operations
Krenicky joined PGEC in September 2017 as a Journeyman Lineman. In 2019, he transitioned from Journeyman Lineman to Engineer Technician. The following year, Krenicky became Operations Project Manager and managed many strategic initiatives including the system redesign that allowed the Cooperative to improve meter readings to 99 percent. He became the Manager of Operations in Aug. 2021 and was promoted to Vice President of Engineering & Operations in January 2025. Prior to joining the PGEC family, Krenicky worked for Southside Electric Cooperative, where he completed the lineman apprenticeship program and obtained his Journeyman Lineman Certificate.
Lee Chappell

Director of Safety & Loss Control
Chappell joined PGEC in November 2001 as its Design Engineer. He was promoted to Vice President of Operations in 2004. In August 2023, he was promoted to VP of Engineering and Operations. In January 2025, Chappell became the co-op's Director of Safety & Loss Control.
