Annually, Teacher Appreciation Week is celebrated the first full week of May and includes Teacher Appreciation Day. This year, Teacher Appreciation Week is May 5-9, 2025, and Teacher Appreciation Day is May 6, 2025. In honor of those who act as role models, mentors, and counselors, shaping students' futures and contributing to a better society, Prince George Electric Cooperative challenges members to reflect on the positive impact teachers have had on our lives and donate to local teachers through its Round Up for Education Program.
Through Round Up for Education, PGEC and our participating members are proud to partner with teachers at local schools like LL Beazley Elementary School in purchasing supplies and educational materials for their students.
Join us in celebrating our amazing educators by rounding up your electric bill to the nearest dollar and donating to a local school of your choice.Â
