ROC Solid Partnership
A nonprofit foundation that assists families facing pediatric cancer got a heartfelt charitable boost this month from employees at Community Electric Cooperative (CEC) and Prince George Electric Cooperative (PGEC). Sixteen volunteers (eight from each co-op) spent a Thursday morning conducting a “Ready Bag Packing Party” to support families whose children are afflicted with cancer.

Local seniors receive $3,000 in co-op scholarships
Three local high school seniors are the proud recipients of $1,000 scholarships courtesy of the Virginia, Maryland & Delaware Association of Electric Cooperatives Education Scholarship for High School Seniors. Each year, the Education Scholarship Foundation awards $1,000 scholarships to deserving high school seniors whose parents or legal guardian are members of one of the 15 electric cooperatives served by VMDAEC.

Prince George Electric Cooperative takes pride in offering members flexibility in managing their electric bills. One way members can do that is with our prepaid electric program.
For many, the concept of prepaid electricity is simple. Members pay for power upfront instead of at the end of each billing period. This means that members spend the money they already have in their account rather than accumulating a bill each month.
