The Virginia, Maryland & Delaware Association of Electric Cooperatives (VMDAEC) Education Scholarship Foundation is excited to announce the opening of its 2025–26 High School Scholarship application cycle, offering an outstanding opportunity for local students to invest in their future through higher education.
Each year, the Foundation proudly awards $1,500 scholarships to eligible high school and home-schooled seniors who are pursuing post-secondary education opportunities, including college, university, or other accredited programs. This annual scholarship reflects the cooperative commitment to education, community empowerment, and supporting the next generation of leaders.
Students are eligible to apply if their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) are electric members of Prince George Electric Cooperative (PGEC). The scholarship is designed to recognize academic achievement, personal initiative, and the promise of continued success beyond high school.
Application Deadline: March 20, 2026
Students and families are encouraged to apply early and take advantage of this meaningful financial support as they plan for life after graduation.
